This type is preferred for changes and repairs of shaped parts made of refined steel types 1.2311, 1.2312, 1.2162 and 1.2738. This weld material can be processed by eroding (sparking), it can also be very well machined, ground, shaped, polished, chromed, etched, nitrided, hardened and refined.
Mechanical properties
- Material: 1.5424 (DIN standard)
- Achievable hardness: 28-37 HRc - it depends on the layers and the hardness of the welded mat.
- Elongation 23 – 27%
