AMPCO M4

The patented manufacturing process gives this Ampco alloy mechanical properties that exceed conventional nickel-aluminum bronze. Products made of this material have higher sliding properties and, thanks to minimal friction, they can be used at higher working speeds. The increase in the content of Al and Fe in the alloy results in a material in which the hard gamma 2 phase is present. Even at the lower price of this material, products made from it are comparable to beryllium copper and at the same time do not contain beryllium, which requires compliance with special safety principles.
