QuFe21

This type is 100% comparable to the QuFe20 type, but it is produced without a copper surface and has its advantages for welding tools that are polished to a high to mirror shine. This material is also used for welding those tools and parts, or their surfaces, which are exposed to strong abrasion and pressure, under the simultaneous effect of increased operating temperature and mechanical shocks. Such are, for example, the surfaces of shutters (slats), guide grooves, sealing edges. This material also shows increased resistance to abrasion when injection molding plastics with a proportion of glass fibers. The material can be processed by grinding or cemented carbide tools. Deposits can be eroded, etched, nitrided, hardened, polished, annealed.

Mechanical properties
