QuMed4115

This material is suitable for the creation of abrasion-resistant armor on construction parts made of non-alloyed and low-alloyed steels and steel casts, heat-resistant steels and also high-alloyed steels and steel casts. It is particularly suitable for welding a single layer. It is a martensitic weld material, showing good abrasion resistance even at elevated temperatures, as well as good resistance to water, seawater, steam and diluted organic acids. It has high thermal stability.

Mechanical properties

• Material: 1.4115 (DIN standard)
• The hardness of the pure welding material is approx. 40 HRc
• Recommended for materials 1.4115, 1.2085, 1.4057
