QuFe11

Due to its good resistance to heat wear, this type is advantageously used for welds on heat-working tools or forms that are subjected to pressure, abrasion, or impact at elevated temperatures. Among such tools are, for example, forging dies, molds for pressure casting, injection molds for plastic, guides, or casting cylinders. Compared to the QuFe10 type, it shows a higher hardness after welding. This welding material can be nitrided, refined, it can be chrome plated, CVD coated, polished and machined with chips.

Mechanical properties

  • Material: 3-GZ-40-T special alloy (according to DIN standard)
  • Achievable hardness: 38 -42 HRc - depends on the layers and the hardness of the welded mat.
