This welding material with cobalt content is intended for welding on hot and cold working tools, which are subject to the highest demands. Such tools are shearing tools, cold working shears, hot cutting tools, aluminum die casting dies, cold forging dies, drawing tools, stamping tools and bending tools. After welding, the welding material is easily machined by chipping. By heat treating the welded part, it is possible to achieve optimal resistance to wear when working at high temperatures or optimal resistance to changes in working temperatures.

Mechanical properties

• Material: 1.6356 (DIN standard)
• Hardness 32-35 HRc without heat treatment; 50-54 HRc after heat treatment for 3-4 hours at 480oC
• Recommended for materials 1.6356, steels for cold and warm work with increased demands
