We prefer this type when welding changes or repairs in the shaped cavities of molds made of refined steel types 1.2311, 1.2312, 1.2162 and 1.2738. The weld material can be eroded (sparked), shaped, polished, chromed, etched, nitrided, refined and hardened. Thanks to the chromium content, increased corrosion resistance, blade life and abrasion resistance are achieved with this welding material.
Mechanical properties
- Material: 1.7339 (DIN standard)
- Achievable hardness: 28-37 HRc - it depends on the layers and the hardness of the welded mat.
- Elongation 23 – 27%
- Recommended for materials 1.2311, 1.2312, 1.2162, 1.2738
