Type MF

Very popular grinding stones, soft, finishing (especially types with higher grain size). They`re made on the basis of silicon carbide. The soft bond allows the bound abrasive grain to work very quickly and prevents the grinding stone from clogging with the processed material. These stones are primarily used for leveling hardened steel surfaces and for machining of shaped surfaces, as they quickly adapt to the desired profile and compensate for surface irregularities. They can be used by hand or in sawing devices, but not in ultrasonic heads - they crack there due to the soft bond. When working, we recommend using oil when working with grinding stones, which prevents the clogging of abrasive stones with dirt and increases the grinding performance and quality of the treated surface.
