Made from white aluminum oxide of first-class quality. The rapid removal ability favors this type of grinding stone to remove the post-sparking layer that is formed during EDM. These grinding stones have also proved very useful in the roughing and medium-rough machining of heat-treated molds, hardened tool steels and molds with fine engraving. The presence of oil on the surface of the stone eliminates the slurry caused by the removal of the grinding stone and leaves its pores open. Most Bellstone products are already pre-enriched with oil at the factory.
