Description
This type is preferred for welds on hot working tools or molds, which are subjected to pressure, abrasion, or impact at elevated temperatures, for example, forging dies, die-casting molds, plastic injection molds, guides, or casting rolls.
This welding material is possible to nitride, refillable, can be chromium-plated, CVD-coated, polished, and jet-machined.
Mechanical properties:
Material: 3-GZ-40-T special alloy (according to DIN standard)
The hardness of pure welding material: 38-42 HRc
Recommended for materials: 1.2082, 1.2083, 1.2343, 1.2367 to 1.2606
