This welding material is an universal type for welding parts which are exposed to strong impacts with medium demands on abrasion resistance. The main areas for application are cutting tools and molds for the automotive industry. The weld can be machined by grinding.
Mechanical properties:
Material: 1.4718 (DIN standard)
Hardness of pure welding material: 54-60 HRc
Annealed at 800 ° C: approx. 250 HB
Hardened at 1000 ° C / in oil: 62 HRc
Recommended for : 1.4718, 1.2379, 1.2436, 1.2601 and similar
