MainPlanchettes and AMPCOStainless steelPrecision underlay sheet metal 3,00x360x1000mm, Cr-Stahl, 1.4034, force tolerance +/-0,030mm, HRC50-54
Description
Hardened, stainless tool steel material no .: 1.4034 (1.2083).
Thanks to the 13% chromium alloy, is this martensitic chrome steel resistant to corrosion in humid air, water vapor, and water, but is not resistant to chloride ions and acids. Compared to 1.4310, this material has less corrosion resistance. The advantages of this steel are good wear resistance and minimum internal stress. With the Rockwell hardness between 50 and 54 HRC is this material ideal for measuring instruments, tools, and machine knives for the food industry, as well as scalpels. Materials 1.4034 and 1.2083 differ only minimally in carbon content.
