Made from first-class quality white aluminum oxide. Quick removal ability favors this type of grinding stone for removal of layers after sparking that originate during EDM. These grinding stones are popular for use in the roughing and medium-rough machining of heat-treated molds, hardened tool steels, and molds with fine engraving. The presence of oil on the surface of the grinding stone eliminates the remnants of the slurry formed by the removal of the grinding stone and leaves its pores open. Most Bellstone products are already pre-enriched with oil at the factory.
